Auchumpkee Creek Covered Bridge

Thomaston, GA - The bridge is 96 feet long and is not open to traffic. Directions: From 1-75 south in Atlanta, take exit 77 to Hwy 19/41 to Griffin, Zebulon and Thomaston. Go 12 miles south of Historic Square on Hwy. 19 to Allen Road.
Historic Rylander Theater
Americus, GA - The Rylander was closed for more than 40 years, reopening October 1, 1999 to celebrate President Carter’s birthday. The restored Theater looks exactly as it did in 1921 but is now equipped with comfortable new seats and state of the art theatrical equipment.
