Southeast Electric Flight Festival Celebrates the Thrill of Flight
World’s Largest Model Electric Flight Festival Draws Huge Crowds
More than 450 of the world’s most skilled model pilots and hobby enthusiasts will gather for the 10th Annual Southeast Electric Flight Festival (SEFF) – the world’s largest electric flying festival, April 14-17, in Andersonville, GA, near Atlanta. Clean, electric powered radio control aircraft shows that even hobbies for the young and old can be earth friendly.
The four-day event, sponsored by the Academy of Model Aeronautics, broke the Guinness Book of World Records in 2008 for the most model planes in the sky at one time. It features a premiere 1,700 ft. grass runway, wide open skies, and thousands of spectators.
